Ann Dempsey 
Promoted to Black Belt December 2022 by Professor Vicente Junior & Chris Bower. Ann is 2X IBJJF Masters World Champion. She started training Brazilian jiu jitsu March 2016 at age 39. Started training in No Gi first and then June 2016 started training Gi. Did her first competition April 2017 at the IBJJF Spring New York Open where she placed silver in the Adult division at age 40.  That’s where her love of the sport jiu jitsu and competing started for her. She continue to compete throughout her whole white belt career blue belt and purple belt career, she received her brown belt under Rick Slomba (Mendez Brothers Black belt) November 2021 after winning her purple belt division at masters worlds.

She started competing  and trained at White Belt and and received her blue belt under Round Table Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the guidance and coaching of black belts Brad Souders, Bobby Knots and Josh Hummer. She then joined Form Jiu Jitsu in Baltimore under the guidance and coaching of AOJ Mendez Brothers black belt and Adult Worlds Champion Richard Slomba and competed heavily under them during her blue belt and purple career, she received her purple and Brown belt under them. She has competed all over the country and she’s an avid cross trainer. She is also the proud mother of two daughters.
