Jeff is a 1st Degree Black Belt, U.S. Army Veteran, and founder of Grapple or Die @grappleordie His journey started with Karate and Judo, moved through wrestling, and led him to Jiu-Jitsu in 2004 via the Modern Army Combatives Program. He earned his black belt in 2022 and his first degree in 2025 — and brings a ton of experience to the mats.
I trained at Bowerhouse MMA for a week while I was at Ft Detrick. The coaching was fantastic from the basic class to the advanced class I picked up a new technique every day. Honestly... Bowerhouse is such a phenomenal place. No lie, me and my girl starters going to classes and working out here, she lost 15 lbs in literally two months, and they got me in the best shape of my life.
